Juice/Produce

What is HPP?

HPP stands for High Pressure Processing, which is designed to keep our juices and shots safe for consumption. We use HPP because it helps the product maintain the highest nutrient density and minimally impacts vitamins, antioxidants and nutrition. HPP takes a bottle of juice through a cold chamber of water and applies large amount of pressure to it, high enough to inactivate any potential harmful pathogens.

Can I freeze my juices?

Yes, you can though we don't do it ourselves. We sell only fresh organic cold pressed jucies.

Is the juice pesticide free?

As we're a certified organic business, all of our juices are produced without the use of pesticides. Nevertheless, our organic produce goes through an extensive cleaning and sanitizing process prior to juicing. Once the produce is juiced it goes through the HPP process.

By consuming our certified organic juices you can rest assured that you are avoiding potentially harmful pesticides. Support healthy farming practices and reduce your exposure to harmful pesticides by buying organic our juices. Shop Now.

Is juce separation normal?

The separation (sediment) is a natural occurrence seen in all natural juices. We recommend shaking the juice in order to shake away separation!

Are your juices pasteurized?

Absolutely not. All our juices go through a process called HPP (High Pressure Processing).

Are your juices/shots vegan?

Yes, all our products are vegan.

How should I store the juices?

Keep refrigerated 1-5°C. Shake away separation.

Can my kids drink your juices?

Yes, of course. Our cold pressed juices are very tasty and good for them.

Do you use water in your juices?

No, we don't! We use 100% juice extracted from organic fruits and veggies.

What is organic cold pressed juice?

Here at PLANT all of our juices are freshly made with certified organic fruits and veggies in a state of the art facility that uses a hydraulic press to juice pulp free raw and delicious juice.

Are your juices certified organic?

Yes, all our juices are certified organic by Soil Association.

How many calories are in your juices?

Here at PLANT, we have a wide range of juices that could meet your needs. We have lower calorie juices—such as our Rebirth, Celery Juice, and Alkaline Green Goddess (all under 50 calories)—and denser juices such as our Red Sun and Red Apple Juice (both still under 200 calories).

You can find all nutritional information on our individual product pages, simply by clicking the desired juice in our catalogue. Find out more.

How do you keep nutrients in the juice?

All the nutrients are maintained in our juicing process. Nutrients will diminish over time but due to the short shelf life of our juices the nutritional content remains intact until consumed.

Are there any added sugars in your juices?

Absolutely not! There are no added sugars in any of our juices or shots.

How long is my juice good for once opened?

Once opened, consume within 24 hours.

If a juice bottle is bloated, is it safe to consume?

No, it is not! If you receive a bloated bottle of juice, please do not consume it as the product may have spoiled.

What do you do with the pulp left from making juices?

We use a part of it for making bliss balls. We return the remaining pulp to the farmers for composting purposes.

Are your juices and shots safe for pregnancy and breastfeeding?

Please consult your physician! We use a process called HPP, however, our juices are not pasteurized.

How much organic produce is used to make a signle bottle of juice?

Up to two kilograms (4 pounds) of fresh organic produce is used to make a single bottle of juice!

Why do the juices have different colors and tastes from time to time?

Fresh produce has natural variations in terms of flavor and color, so do our cold pressed juices.

Where to look for the list of ingredients, allergens, and nutritional info of a product?

You can find the list of ingredients, allergens, and nutritional info of a product on our individual product pages. See more.

Kombucha

What is Kombucha?

Kombucha is a fermented tea passed down through centuries of tradition. For more than 2 centuries people believed Kombucha to have unique healing properties. To craft Kombucha, a base of sweetened tea is cultured with a SCOBY (Symbiotic Culture Of Bacteria and Yeast). Over time, the SCOBY transforms the tea into a bright, tangy, and effervescent drink with billions of living probiotics that may aid digestion, support gut health, and boost immune function.

Is your Kombucha pasteurised?

Absolutely not! Our Kombucha is never heated or treated which means that all of the beneficial bacteria, yeasts and organic acids remain healthy and intact.

How should I store the Kombucha?

Keep refrigerated 1-5°C. Strands of Kombucha may appear naturally as signs of a healthy and raw Kombucha.

Can I drink "too much" Kombucha?

Drinking "too much" Kombucha will not harm you. However, we recommend drinking in moderation and listening to your body.

Can my kids drink your Kombucha?

Yes, they can. Some parents start by giving their children small amounts at the beginning.

Does the Kombucha contain alcohol?

A trace amount of alcohol is produced during fermentation (no more than 0.5% ABV).

What are the floaty bits in my Kombucha?

Don’t worry! Strands of Kombucha or blobs of a baby ‘SCOBY’ may appear in your kombucha. At first, these may seem weird but rest assured these are a sign of a natural, healthy and raw Kombucha. They are good for you and perfectly safe to consume.

In our Ginger & Lime Kombucha, the floaty stuff will be fresh ginger and lime bits. We cold press our ginger and limes to extract the juice, ensuring the natural vitamins and enzymes found in the fruit remain intact. Just gently tip the bottle back and forth to mix these natural bits in.

What is the sugar content of your Kombucha?

Our product is low sugar at close to 3g per 100ml. We use unrefined organic cane sugar to brew our Kombucha as it is an essential component for the fermentation process. The natural yeasts in our batches consume the sugar during fermentation leaving only small amounts when bottling. Any extra sweetness tasted in our flavors comes from the natural ingredients that are added in after the fermentation is complete.

How long is my Kombucha good for once opened?

Once opened, consume within 24 hours.

Does Kombucha need to be consumed with a meal?

Absolutely not. Kombucha can be enjoyed before a meal, with a meal, after a meal, or any time in between. Just feel free to drink it whenever you feel like it.

How will I feel after drinking GT’s SYNERGY Kombucha?

Kombucha is known to make you feel fresh and revitalized. Each bottle of our Kombucha contains billions of living probiotics to support gut health and promote overall well-being. The naturally occurring effervescence may also help you feel full and satisfied.

If you are new to Kombucha, you may experience the detoxifying effects typically associated with a cleanse. This may show up as gas, bloat, or a change in stool. For this reason, we recommend starting with smaller quantities and gradually increasing your intake over time.

Is your Kombucha safe for pregnancy and breastfeeding?

We recommend consulting a medical professional prior starting Kombucha.

What are some of the benefits behind drinking Kombucha?

Kombucha may help the body by giving your body what it needs, in the form of probiotics, organic acids and more. From this, the beneficial effects of Kombucha have been reported to include improved immune system, increased energy, digestive support and more.

I have a sensitivity/intolerance to alcohol. Should I still drink Kombucha?

If you have a sensitivity to alcohol, we recommend monitoring your intake and consulting with your doctor as needed. A trace amount of alcohol is produced during fermentation (no more than 0.5% ABV).

Juice Cleanse

What should I do if I get hungry?

Eat something light! We strongly believe that you should always listen to your body. Try a warm vegan soup, porridge, or some nuts to help you through out the day.

Do I need to drink water?

Yes, definitely! It is important to understand that your body needs water in addition to your cold pressed juices to stay hydrated. We recommend drinking about 3l of water per day.

Can I drink coffee?

We recommend not drinking coffee during your cleanse, but we totally understand that it might be an important part of your everyday routine. If you really feel like you need caffeine as a part of your routine while you’re cleansing, maybe try matcha instead.

What should I do to prepare myself for juice cleanse?

We recommend that you start your preparation about 2 to 3 days before the beginning of your juice cleanse. Try to cut down on caffeine, processed foods, added sugars and alcohol. This will help you getting through your cleanse easier.

What should I do during my juice cleanse?

1 .Follow the two-hour rule! Start your day by consuming your first full juice, and another every two hours.

2. Add a Wellness Shot Boost. Add our Shots - Starter Kit to any cleanse. Drink your first shot one hour before your first juice, and another every two hours.

3. Light exercise, walking, or yoga. Feel free to enjoy one of these activities, but above all, listen to your body!

What about post cleanse?

Congratulations, you did your first cleanse! You did a great thing for your digestive system and your body overall.

Remember, the more gently you reintroduce foods and other drinks into your diet, the smoother the transition will be. You may even find that you’re craving eating healthy foods. This is a great opportunity for you to reduce/eliminate the processed foods and soda.

Don't stop here. Practice the juice cleanse more often. We recommend doing it at least once a month if not every week.
